Big Love was founded in 2001 with a naive desire to organise parties with a difference in Bristol. It took on some real meaning in 2002 when it turned into a vehicle for raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, in memory of the mother of Tom Chamberlayne. From small seeds grow mighty, mighty oaks. With the loving-care of a team of dedicated fundraisers Big Love Enterprises is now establishing itself as a philanthropic Giant Redwood that has so far raised over £12,000 for charity. To date the various members of Big Love have cycled across half of Africa, run marathons and triathlons and climbed the three highest peaks in Britain in twenty-three hours to raise money for Breakthrough. Where Big Love fits in is that instead of pestering people we barely know with requests for sponsorship, we raise money by inviting you to come and help spread the love at one of our fantastic events. So come, dig out your cagoule of charitable-giving from the hall cupboard of goodwill, and join us in spreading the love... |
